I Missed The Call
Can you believe the luck I am having lately?
I missed the module 3 call last night,
Like all of the students I’ve been waiting anxiously since the last webinar for this call and what happens?
my freakin service provider decided to go down an hour before the call.
I got on the phone to them, hoping that if I told them how important it was to me, and I might be the only one of Alex’s students not attending class they might get some emergency engineers out to help me.
Heck I was even prepared to reveal to them my imagined punishment I might face from Colleen for not turning up.
I needn’t have bothered, I never got to speak to anyone, all I got was a bit of crap music and a droning voice repeating “we are sorry but there is a technical fault in your area which our engineers are working on, service will be resumed as soon as possible”.
I listened to this for what seemed about 10,000 times, hoping I to be put through to an operator, but ended up hanging up.
Desperate to find out what I missed I headed on over to Gazza Simpsons Gaff, I know he was sure to have some buzz going on over there.
I was right it was buzzin, but all the juicy bits were not revealed, quite rightly so I supposed, we need to keep it all in house (or school if the snitch is reading this).
Well I will just have to wait for it to be uploaded into the members area and play catch up.
After reading Gazza’s post, I will take a packed lunch and a flask off coffee seeing as it went on for 5 hours.
Bye for now……….

Hi Ric,
Nice pic of you there man. ISP’s huh? That’s technology for you. Actually I had a bit of a hard time getting through to your site tonight to reciprocate your comment on my blog.
I just wanted you to know that you are going on my blogroll tonight. I am so far behind in doing this. There are just so many people – LOL!

Hi Rick,
… that sucks, at least you have the recordings, it’s not the same, but it’s a great backup.

Hello!
I know what you mean about catch-up! I have had to catch-up every session so far, but today I am determined to be part of the brain-storming. I will of course have to remember my brain – always bring your equipement to class.

Best wishes,
Ruth

Hi Rick
You can always watch the recording which is now available so don’t be too downhearted. I would advise changing ISP if it is going offline on a regular basis.

Hi Rick,
I just hopped on over to your site through your link in Austin’s automated blog page of students!
Anyway, I can relate about the “kind of luck” you were having (hopefully it’s better now!). I had ISP issues a few times, but not during the coaching classes. Also didn’t have the best luck this past weekend with my Firefox browser issues and my website’s content vanishing into thin air (I have no idea how that would happen!). All I wanted to do was work on getting traffic, but had to go Christmas shopping, take care of my grandson, bake stuff – and all I can think about is traffic? Then of course I ended up with no traffic! Anyway, I understand the frustration. I’m now hoping to get co-operation from my computer and my grandson so I can focus on getting lots and lots of traffic over the next few days!
I really like your writing style, keep up the good work! Come and visit my blog if you have a chance..hopefully it will be there!LOL
